Studio Day Notes

A short record of the setup, mindset, and rhythm that made one studio day especially productive.

A strong studio day usually starts before the clay. Tools are set out, water is ready, and the worktable is clear enough that nothing feels crowded.

After that, momentum matters more than perfection. The session improves once you stop demanding a masterpiece from every single pull or trim.

By the end, the useful result is not just the pieces themselves. It is knowing which conditions made the work feel easier and more focused.
