Glaze Color Surprise
Testing a glaze combination that looked uncertain before firing and somehow came out perfect.
Glaze always asks for a little faith. What looks flat or strange before the kiln can turn into the most interesting surface later.
This piece proved that point. The final color had depth, movement, and enough variation to make the whole object feel alive.
It was a reminder not to over-control every decision. Sometimes the best result comes from allowing a little room for surprise.
